Get Devoted!

To consecrate something means to set apart, to dedicate, to devote something for a specific purpose.

Jesus said, “If anyone wants to be My follower, let him deny himself [put aside, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests] and take up his cross, and follow Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me]. If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for My sake and for the sake of the gospel, you will find true life.” (Mark 8.34-35 AMP/NLT)

There is an awesome power that is released when an individual chooses to abandon their own selfish ambitions completely to the Will of God. If you want to bless your life, get devoted and take up the LORD’s cause. That choice of consecration will involve some of the greatest personal sacrifices one could ever make, yet it yields a far greater fulfillment and satisfaction that cannot be achieved outside of such a life of complete devotion.

Get devoted to God and, “…you will find TRUE life.”
