New Birth’s Racial Unity Neighborhood promotes racial harmony. We created a local chapter of the national organization called, “Be The Bridge”. It is a non-profit organization that consists of a community of people who share a common goal of creating healthy dialogue about race and racialization in the U.S., with an emphasis on promoting understanding about racial disparities and injustices.
