You Are A Threat!

“Therefore I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their swords, spears and bows.”

Nehemiah gave families weapons in order to protect themselves while refurbishing the walls of Jerusalem. Their enemies were great and many and threatened to attack them. But God’s people had the capability to protect themselves.

Brandishing your weapons where your enemy can see it can lessen the motivation of the enemy. I encourage you to be more visible with your weapons (prayer, fasting, and worship). The enemy sees your potential to defeat him. Is it possible that the enemy can be deterred in some cases, simply because you show your weapons publically?
