Help Is On The Way

I was in Meijer’s the other day, doing some grocery shopping. I like to use the self check out, no matter how many things I have. No, I don’t use the express self check out. I use the one that has no limit on the number of items you are buying, just in case you were wondering. Because I know somebody was saying “Awww…you’re scanning too many things!”

At any rate, as I’m scanning my purchases, something gets stuck in the belt. I’m not sure what to do so I hit the “Help” button on the screen. When I hit the button, a voice says “Help is on the way”. I kid you not, as I turned to my left to get something out of my basket, an employee was standing there asking me what I needed and that she was there to help me. Wow…that was pretty darn quick! She unstuck (is that a word?) the item and went on her way.

I was still “stuck” on the fact that the machine said “Help is on the way”. I am a very literal person and I felt it was God speaking to me. One thing I’ve learned is that God is speaking ALL THE TIME. It’s just that most of the time we aren’t listening. I try to make a point to not put God in a box. By a box I mean, He has to fit what He’s doing within the confines of my understanding and how I want them done.

When I allow God to be God and do what He does best, he never ceases to amaze me. He always does something that I never thought about. I guess that’s why the scripture says, He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I could ask or even….THINK!

Yes, God spoke to me in the checkout line at Meijer’s and He’s speaking to you too! Are you listening?

Love you to life!

That’s a word, because so many of us need help today, tommorrow but just to hear “Help is on the way” makes me feel some relief.

Amen and Amen, sometimes I feel people might think I’m extreme, but I can receive a message from God through many things. Once there were pancakes being offered in the café. I couldn’t believe it, I love pancakes. After enjoying a plate I was leaving the Café and the Lord told me “I know what you like” Thank you for that Word Pastor Ruth

    PR,
I got your email last week about this blog but in the hustle and bustle of the weeks end, I forgot to read it. So, imagine my surprise when I read today, what you wrote a week ago today; Help is on the Way!! Too Funny! Because this help came for me on Sunday when Pastor said ‘if you can’t see the star, JUST KEEP WALKING!! The star will appear again.’

That is the help I needed! I’ve been walking a very long time in the dark, and the star is just beginning to shine brightly again.
So, even though I didn’t read your blog last week, the fact that you spoke/wrote the truth, it was still true! My help was on the way. A week later, it’s still true and came true in the week it took me to read it.

So, I encourage you today PR, Keep On Writing!! Even if we don’t read it when you write it, there is no time or distance in the spirit, and the Word will do what it’s supposed to do for all those under your covering. Even if we didn’t hear/read it yet! You spoke/wrote it, it’s true, and it shall come to pass!
    Love you to life too!
