Word for the day: Persevere
Today begins our last week of Consecration 2013. It’s been awesome spending time with God in prayer and worship. God honors your spiritual act of worship, in pushing aside your plate, and denying yourself in order to hear from Him. God has relished this special time that you have spent with him.
This day I want you to continue to persevere in the things of God. Keep a good attitude. Don’t be swayed to the right or to the left. You must know that God has heard your prayer. Make this week your best week. Persevere even harder in your prayer time and in your fasting. Make sure you come out on Wednesday and Friday. These days are also important for you to participate in.
Romans 5:3-5. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
